my story

In December 2020, I hit rock bottom. Battling addiction to drugs and alcohol, I felt utterly alone and unworthy, no longer the father or husband my family deserved. It was in that dark moment that I made a choice to turn my life around—a choice that opened the door to a new beginning.

As I began to change who I was, striving to become a better man for my family, I still grappled with feelings of not being where I was meant to be or who I was meant to be. I soon realized that sometimes, the hardest paths lead us to the most beautiful destinations.

After taking the painful step of divorce, I discovered a remarkable relationship. Together, we've built a blended family that is more beautiful than I ever imagined—filled with love, laughter, and resilience.

Since my transformation, I’ve developed a deep passion for raising awareness around men’s mental health. In founding Heare Brotherhood, my mission is to help men feel seen, heard, and loved, and to combat the alarmingly high suicide rates among men. I know firsthand the struggles that many endure in silence, and I want to change that narrative.

You might wonder what this has to do with marketing. The truth is, I am more than just a marketer. I believe that we all have a story to tell—stories that mold and shape us into who we are. This is my story, and I share it to inspire others who may be facing similar battles.

To anyone out there feeling lost or discouraged: don’t give up. Follow your heart and be brave. Embrace the path less traveled, for it holds rewards that not many dare to pursue. Together, we can rise above and create something truly meaningful.
